Join us in celebrating Kelly, who has been a valued member of our outside staff at Watermark Country Club for the past six seasons! Over the years, Kelly has grown into a leadership role, becoming a standout leader of our bag staff. As he embarks on a new chapter, heading to the University of Michigan to pursue a master’s degree in accounting, we want to extend a huge thank you to Kelly for his six years of outstanding work. Your dedication and leadership have made a lasting impact, and we wish you all the best in your future career! 🎓🌟

We crowned our 2024 Club Champions. Congratulations to Eric Doezema, our Men’s Club Champion. Kate Stec, our Women’s and Senior Club Champion, and Todd Hoag, our Men’s Senior Club Champion. They earned the coveted parking spots, and trophies that came with their victories. The Parking spots seem more popular with the players.

This week's golf term is 'Get Up!' ⛳️ 🚩 Used when you want your ball to rise and reach its target. Next time you find yourself just shy of the green, give it your best shot!

Starting Aug 26 due to being severely understaffed Pool hours at Watermark country club will be 1 to 8. Kiddy pool will be open. Big pool open at 3:30 .

Our final Friday night Couples golf event of the season. Every one was sold out and all of the couples had a great night of golf, dinner, and enjoying the golf and their fellow members and guests.

🏆 PGA Jr League All-Stars Update: Team Thornapple River, coached by Raquel Bryant, finished 5th on Friday (+18), while Team Muskegon River, led by Troy Thom, secured 10th place (+30). Congratulations to Team Grand River and Coach Zach Theut for advancing to Saturday morning after finishing 2nd on Friday (+9) and ultimately placing 4th overall! 🌟⛳

We had a great weekend for our Women’s Invitational/ Member-Member. Congratulations to our 2024 Champions, Stephanie Reuscher and Magda Bopra, who defeated Lisa Swardenski and Amanda Boman in the horse race. Congratulations to all of our flight winners, everyone had a great time with the format, the golf course was in amazing condition. Thanks to all of our members and guests who played in the event.

Our RedWater PGA Jr League Championship was a success! 🏆 Congratulations to Team Thousand Oaks Bryant for taking home the gold! 🥇 Shoutout to Team Macatawa for securing second place 🥈 and Team Watermark for claiming third 🥉. A huge thank you to StoneWater Country Club for hosting a spectacular event! ⛳️🎉

We have two great employees in the Golf Shop, that we want to highlight and recognize for their heads work all summer. Lindsey Wierenga and Maya Nelson always greet everyone with smiles, help members to shop for clothing and also help with all of our member golf events. We are fortunate and thankful for their hard work and great service to our members.

Friday and Saturday are perfect for the golf course – sunny and in the 80s! 🏌️‍♀️☀️ Sunday might bring some rain, so keep an eye on the forecast! ⛳️

UPDATE: We will be opening the big pool at 6pm

Today the baby pool will be open all day but we have to delay opening in the big pool til 4pm

Congratulations to our 2024 Champions, Mike Knowles and Gregg Lebster. They won the horse race, over our runners up, Mack along and Jim Schiffelbein. Thanks to all of the members who played in the event.
