Prepare to be mesmerized by a spellbinding fusion of gothic and industrial beats, masterfully crafted by DJs devoted to rekindling the enigmatic spirit of the goth subculture. Adding to the evening's allure, Monster Drag Events will deliver an electrifying drag performance of stunning artistry.

Immerse yourself in an evening filled with deep tones, shadowy rhythms, and an ambiance that exudes gothic elegance. Whether you're a seasoned devotee or a curious newcomer, reVamp promises an unforgettable night of music, dance, and community.

This Friday we welcome Lioness: An Amy Winehouse Experience - At Billy's Lounge for the first time!

This powerful ensemble delivers a nearly 3 hour production of the majority of the early-2000s Jazz vocalist’s discography- From her early ‘Frank’ days, inspired by artists like Sinatra and Sarah Vaughan, to her hit album ‘Back to Black,’ but not forgetting the icon’s ‘Hidden Treasures.’

The band features some of West Michigan’s finest musicians: Hals Smedstad and Gwinan Weber on vocals, Jeremiah Wenger on guitar, Jarrett Holtslag on keys, Chris Carr on bass, and Karl Schantz on drums.

Lioness will keep your feet moving and mind wondering if you had somehow been transported back in time, to Amy’s famous 2008 Glastonbury performance. They emulate Amy’s ‘lioness’ persona inside and out, and do not forget the beehive look or chunky eyeliner at home! Even better, the set is full of improvised sections from the very talented band, really honoring that element of Jazz that Amy loved so much.

The music also has a mission, ‘Lioness’ strives to raise awareness for the suffering of addiction and is raising funds for the Grand Rapids Red Project, which provides their local community with harm reduction resources and connects them with recovery coaching and other related healthcare services. 15% of all proceeds are donated directly to this amazing 501c3 organization.

ok folks! It is official! our next Blues Jam will be a Celebrity Blues Jam! It's going to be a little bit different format in that there will also be a set on both sides of the jam.

Billy The Kid & The Regulators will be coming to host our open blues jam! How awesome is that? You can jam with these dudes or just come to listen. And for only a $5 cover, who can beat that?

Come down to Billy's Lounge on Sunday 8/18/2024 at 1:00 p.m. Sign-ups will begin right then and we expect it to fill up quickly so no guarantees of play time but it will be a blast no matter what!

Bassbin was started in 2010 by the one and only SuperDre!
From 2015-2020 it was hosted by Zach Bletz and Richard Oxygenn, with a stint in the middle hosted by Sammy Polaroid.
We're doing things a little different this year and have locked in Swoop (from the og lineup) with Richard and Zach to tie in the years in between!
We will be doing it BIG for the 15 year with EVERYONE who has had a hand in keeping this amazing night rocking!
And who knows, maybe we will have a surprise or 2 for you this time too!
