Jack got started running because his dad ran a trail marathon. It looked fun, so he started running cross country in 8th grade. His favorite race distance is the 800m because it is the perfect mix of endurance and explosive strength. His best running memory was during a race when he was really fading, a teammate came by and encouraged Jack to stay right on his shoulder. That sportsmanship allowed Jack to rally and they finished together. His advice to newer runners: "Be patient with the process and don't try to build up too quickly." Stop in and say "Hi!"
