Well, we're hiring someone to fill a truss designing position here at Rogue Truss! This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Truss Designer to join our team. The Truss Designer will be responsible for designing and planning truss systems for residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the designing of trusses, have a working knowledge of relevant building codes, and be familiar with computers and their operation. This position also involves working directly with customers and contractors to ensure that the truss designs reflect the actual structure for each individual job.

Responsibilities:
• Design truss systems according to customer specifications and building codes.
• Utilize truss software to generate truss designs.
• Create layouts for trusses and other components for efficient installation.
• Analyze truss designs for potential structural deficiencies.
• Prepare detailed drawings and reports for truss design projects.
• Ensure truss designs meet safety and industry standards.
• Monitor truss fabrication and installation when needed.
• Attend meetings and site visits as required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
• Interface with customers and clients via email, phone calls, and in person.

Requirements:
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be computer literate

Previous experience with customer service, truss design, or other positions utilizing building plans is preferred.
