The kids imaginations were on fire today as they created a city in the block area. There was a lot of hard work and collaboration. But of course that meant there were a lot of blocks to be put away! Everyone stepped up to help out. Many hands truly do make light work ❤️.
Can anyone relate??

The kids are always so excited to see Pastor Ann and hear about our newest Bible hero. But I think their favorite part of chapel is music time 🎶
One of our Previous Lambs families is in need of childcare for a couple of afternoons a week. I'm sharing their post here in case any of our current families are interested or know someone who can help. I mean who wouldn't want to spend a couple of afternoons with this sweet boy??
Hey Grayslake/Libertyville friends: The Knights are looking for someone to watch Ollie Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays after preschool until we get home from work during the Spring semester. (At this point, Tuesdays are the priority, but we’d prefer someone who can do both days!) Our current sitters had some schedule changes, and some of our other leads didn’t pan out, so I’m turning to FB for help. 🙂
Given our preschool schedule, daycares really aren’t a great option, so I’m looking for someone in home (ours or theirs).
We can chat details privately if you’re interested (or have recommendations). Thank you!
This year in our Enrichment Class the kids are learning about what happens to trees during different seasons of the year. Today they welcomed fall by changing our tree from summer leaves to the fall leaves that they had created.

What a month! We learned about dinosaurs, the Tower of Babel, magnets, celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, and had Wacky Wednesday. These guys have earned their spring break!!
Snow= joy ☃️❄️
This week in our enrichment class we talked about our own family Christmas traditions, and we learned some things about how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Miss Sarah, whose husband is from New Zealand, shared a New Zealand Christmas book with us and then showed us a New Zealand tradition that they do at their house every year. We also learned about the St Lucia festival and made candle wreaths to wear on our heads.
We loved having Ms Lori back at Precious Lambs yesterday!
Yesterday was such a special day! Our very own Miss Lori came back as a Mystery Reader and classroom helper.
We were SO excited to welcome our Precious Lambs and their dads to our farm themed Dad's Night tonight 🐄!
We had a great field trip at Kroll's Farm today! It was the perfect weather for a hayride, corn maze, and goat feeding and petting 🐐.
What an exciting week we had! We got to help a few monarch butterflies begin their adventure of migrating to Mexico for the winter. Thank you Debbie La Sage Judd for sharing your chrysalises with us this week. It was so exciting to watch them become butterflies and head off into the world.
