Chapel, snow play, and a Mystery Reader. It was a perfect day!
Our Tuesday Thursday class had one final Christmas program practice with Pastor Ann today. They love their music time with her, and their song is going to be so much fun at our program.
Our music lesson this month had a Native American theme. We learned some dance steps, listened to some Native American music (on a cassette tape which of course none of the kids had any idea what that was 😁), and everyone had a chance to play a Native American drum.
We still have spots available and would love to see our PLP friends there 😄!
Superpalooza fun...
What a great Superpalooza day we had! Thanks to all of the behind the scenes workers who helped create such a special event for our preschool families. And special thanks to our very own Miss Sarah for showing us how it's done.
Come join us this summer!

Leprechaun- 1
Precious Lambs- 0
We really thought this was going to be our year. We set the perfect trap, made "Leprechaun Lookers", and hunted all around the church, but that sneaky little guy managed to get away yet again. Of course he left a big mess behind- furniture was knocked over, toys we're everywhere, and he left us a little green surprise in our toilets 😲🍀
Can anyone relate??

One of our Previous Lambs families is in need of childcare for a couple of afternoons a week. I'm sharing their post here in case any of our current families are interested or know someone who can help. I mean who wouldn't want to spend a couple of afternoons with this sweet boy??
Hey Grayslake/Libertyville friends: The Knights are looking for someone to watch Ollie Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays after preschool until we get home from work during the Spring semester. (At this point, Tuesdays are the priority, but we’d prefer someone who can do both days!) Our current sitters had some schedule changes, and some of our other leads didn’t pan out, so I’m turning to FB for help. 🙂
Given our preschool schedule, daycares really aren’t a great option, so I’m looking for someone in home (ours or theirs).
We can chat details privately if you’re interested (or have recommendations). Thank you!
❄️❄️ SNOW ❄️❄️
Chalk + puddles = lots of messy fun ❤️
We love our chapel time with Pastor Ann!!
Make new friends but keep the old..
It's always fun to watch the kids reconnect after a long summer, and to watch them reach out and introduce themselves to some new friends.
Today we had to say goodbye to both our Tuesday Thursday class as well as our butterflies 🦋. The kids took turns saying goodbye to the butterflies and watched them fly away. Then it was our turn to say our goodbyes 🙁. We hope everyone has a great summer- we will miss you🥰
We have had such a fun month! We learned about dinosaurs, and got to explore a dino habitat as well as dig for fossils. We did some magnet exploration, created and set a trap to try to catch a leprechaun, and had Wacky Wednesday on a Thursday 😀.
What an exciting week we had! We got to help a few monarch butterflies begin their adventure of migrating to Mexico for the winter. Thank you Debbie La Sage Judd for sharing your chrysalises with us this week. It was so exciting to watch them become butterflies and head off into the world.
Hmmm... What can this be? We have a special surprise for the kids this week.
We had a fun All About Me week this week! We learned about our emotions and what makes each of us unique.
