It was so fun to spend an afternoon here, hunting around the store for the best angles and details to help tell their story and invite folks in.

Haven’t had much time for (non business) creative collaboration this year, but luckily my sister is always down to be dragged around (in this case up a mountain).

Last month we trekked up Otis to the side where that awful fire passed through a few years ago, which made for the perfect eerie setting. Very glad to have scratched the spooky season itch and hope to do something more elaborate in the future. 👻🪦🎃

HOLY COW did folks show the heck up and support 195+ featured local & regional artists!

These events are not only great opportunities to find unique, handmade treasures, but to also support our local economy and vibrant artisan community. There are so many incredible individuals in and around Montana who strive to create and contribute.

I am fully booked for 2024 and have (limited) availability starting late February. Otherwise, I’d love to connect in the spring. The only exceptions being for my quarterly photo clients.

📸FRIENDLY REMINDER:
In order to reserve a date & time for a session, I do require a retainer invoice and signed contract for all sessions to officially book. This is the only way I can guarantee a date.

🎓SENIOR SESSIONS:
Can be inquired by a senior, but I need a parent/guardian to sign their contract if they are under 18. Again, a retainer payment & signed contract are required to book.

The end of this year is jam packed for me and I’m kind of drowning, 😅 but so very thankful for the incredible people I get to work with, and their patience with me.

This was such a fun & playful one hour session! The time flew by quickly, as it always does, but we were able to get lots of wonderfully vibrant shots!

When members of our community invest their energy in helping others, it often happens at their own expense. Rarely are there opportunities for supporters to receive the quality of support they give. Being human can be overwhelming, and as we know, we can't pour from an empty cup. Based in Missoula, Courtney provides a space for emotional and spiritual care for teams and individuals with big questions. The work she does helps people live more aligned and whole, planting the seed to further impact her community by paying it forward.

This is a prime example of what it means to pursue meaningful work, striving to lead by example, and with your values.

Any amount of pride I take in my work, or growth I notice over the years, can be attributed to the many teachers, mentors, peers, colleagues, and clients I’ve had that inspire people to put their best foot forward. The enablers - the people who push you to participate and believe in yourself. The people who take a chance on you. nelldesignsco is one of the first businesses I worked with and one of the first people who took a chance on me, when I still had so much to learn (still do).

In pursuit of growth, we’re often unsatisfied, but it’s important to look back at how far we’ve come and thank the people who trusted us and supported us in the beginning. There is so much more I could say about this, and the metaphor of gratitude, gardening, and growth, but you get the idea.

That’s a wrap for the 2024 Flathead Cherry Festival! 🍒

What a super fun weekend this was with 180+ artists, food, and local vendors. It was a joy getting to see SO many people laugh, shop, dance, and spit cherry pits. 😉 This was definitely one for the books!
