The last couple of weeks have been a lot of fun taking advantage of the last few days of fall colors, bees making there last searches for pollen, stars, comets and more.

The calendars arrived today? This is the front and back cover for your viewing.
I spent a bit of time outside last night taking pictures. Here are just a few of the Northern Lights pictures I took last night.
Working on the 2025 calendar, the photos for this year are from our travels in Montana, Nebraska and Iowa. We are doing presales for the calendar. If you would like one let me or Shelley know. The calendar this year is 12βx18β, the cost is $15 plus $10 to ship if necessary.

We took a little trip a couple of weeks ago to attend a squadron reunion, do some sight seeing and visit family. Attached are some of the pictures from the trip and two from just before we left after a nice thunderstorm rolled through. Our first stop was in Scottsbluff Nebraska, stopping to take a look at part of the Oregon trail and landmarks used for navigation. The next night we were in Winterset Iowa the birthplace of John Wayne and the county where the movie "The Bridges of Madison County" filmed. We only got to one of the six bridges close by because of weather that night. The next night we were in Kokomo Indiana for a squadron reunion for a couple days before going back to Nebraska to visit family. While there I went to the Sunken Gardens and the SAC museum before we started the journey back to Great Falls. The Rainbows are from right before we left and the start of the images to look at.
Getting back into the swing of things and having fun again.
It has taken me a bit of time to decide to sit down and take a look at the Northern Lights pictures I recently took. I have several pictures from that night, these are just a small sampling of what I took that night.
It is Art Show time here in Great Falls. Stop by if you have an opportunity.
Tomorrow this years Footprints on The Trail Art Show opens to the public at 6:00pm. Before we open, I will be doing a Facebook live video to show my lobby pieces, my booth location and my new work for the show. Each of the new pictures has a special meaning this year, which I will explain tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you this week.
Real Talk
We made an unexpected trip to Nebraska last month. While we were there the Blue Angels were in town. Here are a few pictures from their performance.
Before Memorial Day an American Flag was raised at Black Eagle Falls Dam. The weather wasn't the best for getting some nice pictures of it with the water flowing over the dam. Shortly before we left for Nebraska and after returning, I got lucky weather wise to get some additional pictures. Even taking advantage of some of my lens filters to keep the over brightness to a minimum. There is also one from the Great Falls of the Missouri at Ryan Dam.
A few more from our trip to Nebraska. One of my favorite places to go is the Sunken Gardens. I really find a lot of peace there. We also made it to The Veterans Memorial Garden. This is a beautiful and humbling place to visit. I have a picture of the brick honoring my father in law Chuck Epp. A few more from the 146th Street overpass of I-80 and the Steam Engine train in Omaha.
We went to Nebraska last week, I had a few opportunities to get out and take some pictures. Weather and other factors limited what I could do this trip.
