If you live in Colorado!! Please check you car insurance policy and make sure you have Medical payments or Medpay on your policy. There is a new Lien law and it is making it more difficult for patients to get the treatment that they need after and Auto accident. Medpay will cover your treatment whether it is your fault or someone else's fault and it will not effect your policy for using it.

If the accident is not your fault, the at fault insurance company will tell you they will take of your claims. However they do not tell you that they will pay all claims at the end when there is a settlement. Which could take a couple years or more.

You might think that you have enough coverage on your health insurance... but some health insurances have coverage limits. And once there is a settlement your health insurance will more likely request that they be paid back for any claims they have paid that were related to the car accident. Plus if you use your health insurance, you will be responsible for all deductibles and co-pays at time of service.

So please take 5 minutes and call you agent and request that they add Medpay or Medical payments to your policies. This will save you from a financial burden. So that all you need to worry about is getting healthy.

With this new lien law our office now regretfully will require you to have an Attorney by your second visit, if you do not have medpay on your policy. If you do not have medpay or and Attorney you will be required to pay at time of service. We will no longer do any Lien's with the at fault insurance companies.

Medpay is very inexpensive for the headaches it will save you from in the long run. You can get $5000, $10,000 or even $25,000 for a few dollars a month.

She has been dealing with Accident cases for over 32 years and will gladly explain any questions you might have. Do not wait until you are in an accident to add Medpay coverage because then it will be to late to cover that accident

The foundation exists solely to provide scholarships to children whose parents have been injured or killed in work-related accidents in Colorado.
Applicants do not need to be a Pinnacol customer.
