I am stoked, really stoked, heck ya! I am pleased to announce that TODAY, my son Thomas Kelly and his business partner Chad Brinker have acquired certain assets of Alpine Sales and Service LLC, a garage door sales and service company, from owner John Overman.

John has been in the garage door business for 45+ years. He is well respected in the industry and has installed more than 5,000 garage doors during his career. In the process of selling his business, John had to make a choice: sell to a large company or sell to an individual. He chose to sell to an individual who would continue his legacy by offering quality doors and service and having the attention to detail and personalized service that owner-operators deliver best.

Chad and Thomas have been preparing for this day for the past several months, setting up everything needed for the business. This included purchasing an additional service van from Dylan Fletcher at Dorsch Ford.

Chad and Thomas have had great support from their families and their transaction team: banker Dustin Gresen from American National Bank, attorney Michael Demerath from Hager, Dewick & Zuengler S.C., and of course, M&A Advisors John Kelly and Kiely Kelly Garcia from Kelly Business Advisors LLC.

Chad and Thomas have completed extensive training and are well on their way to becoming experts in garage doors. As they continue this journey, I hear Chad say almost daily, “We are going to knock it out of the park!” And Thomas says “Heck Ya” and today, a smile comes to his face with ease. They do not say these things just to be positive, but because they realize how well-prepared they are and how good of an opportunity Alpine Sales and Service is for them.

Welding Wholesaler Acquires Metal Man of Appleton

GREEN BAY WI Sept. 11,2023: Kelly Business Advisors LLC of Green Bay, Wisconsin, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Metal Man Work Gear by Techniweld USA. Metal Man Work Gear is an Appleton, Wisconsin, private labeler of welding machines, helmets, carts, and cabinets. The acquisition creates opportunities for the welding wholesaler, Techniweld USA, to add the entire Metal Man product line to its extensive welding-related product line.

Kelly Business Advisors’ owner John Kelly executed the transaction for Dave Anderson, founder and president of Metal Man. Anderson said he appreciated Kelly’s ability to facilitate the sale in a professional and personable manner.

“John Kelly consistently put our needs before his own, educated us on the process, and was relentless in his efforts to get the transaction across the finish line, not to mention, I have made a friend with John for life,” Anderson said.

Hunter Johnson, president of Techniweld USA, noted that the acquisition combines each organization’s strengths and resources to offer customers comprehensive welding solutions.

“I am thrilled Dave Anderson and his entire organization will join the Techniweld USA team,” Johnson said.

Techniweld USA will maintain inventory in Appleton, Wisconsin, and Houston, Texas, to ensure timely and high fill rates. Customers can continue to process their orders through Metal Man.

Andy and Stacy had multiple offers for their business, they had the luxury of being choosy. They evaluated each buyer’s values, portfolio, reputation, industry-related knowledge, and experience.
