When living in Cort Condon you will have a few more amenities inside your apartment than the typical Freshman Residence Hall. This set up includes Kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator & range, kitchen table & chairs, along with the living room that is furnished with a couch ๐๏ธ , end tables, & a chair.

As the semester wraps up, here's some important info to ensure a smooth check-out process:

Deadline: Vacate accommodations within 24hrs of your last final or by Saturday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. If you're a graduating senior needing more time, fill out the extension request form by May 1st, Noon.

Check-out: Complete online Express Check Out or schedule an in-person check-out with your RM. Failure to check out properly may result in a fee.
๐งน Cleaning: Clean thoroughly to avoid charges ($35/hr cleaning fee). Discuss cleaning responsibilities with roommates.
๐๏ธ Furniture: Beds must be assembled correctly. Leave furniture in place to avoid charges.
๐ฒ Bikes: Don't forget your bike! Left-behind bikes will be removed.
๐ Donations: Donate useful items in designated bins around Housing.
๐ฝ๏ธ Dining items: Return plates, bowls, etc. to the Community Center.
๐ง Maintenance: Report repairs ASAP to avoid charges.
๐คซ Quiet Hours: During finals week, quiet hours start. Be mindful of noise levels.
๐ฌ Mailroom: Empty mailbox & update addresses for summer.

Despite never having been to Wisconsin before her interview, Calista has quickly fallen in love with the area. When she's not busy with her Area Coordinator duties, you can find her indulging in her hobbies of pottery and gaming.๐ฎ๐บ Fun fact: there are at least 36 manatee-related items in her office!

Looking for an on campus job?
Housing is currently hiring for one Facilities Assistant! This person will help our Residential Facilities team with completing work orders, repairing door locks, assisting with Facilities projects, and more. This position does serve in an on-call duty rotation. We are looking for someone with 20-25 hours of availability per week, which would include some weekend and Holiday hours, with advance notice.
The Facilities Assistant position pays $13 per hour and includes a partial housing stipend. Applicants must live in on-campus housing.

We couldn't be more excited to have Chris join our team! With a strong educational background, including an undergraduate degree from UW Eau Claire and Masters Degrees from UW Stout and UW Madison, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization.
As a true "lifer" for Housing, Chris has always been involved in this field, even during his undergraduate years. Chris has explored various professional avenues but has always found himself returning to Housing. Chris is excited about his new role as an Area Coordinator, as it offers a fresh perspective and an opportunity to work closely with students, which keeps him energized and connected to campus life.
In his free time, you can find Chris playing his Playstation 5 and staying active at the gym (although he hasn't had a chance to visit the Kress Center just yet). Keep an eye out for him in the future!
Fun fact about Chris is he is also a board member of the Wisconsin College Personnel Association, showcasing his dedication to the field and his commitment to professional growth. ๐ค
