Freedom Shift

Chapter 1, The Needed Revolution. It's time for a revolution, the author writes. A FreedomShift of Entrepreneurs and many of them.
The "Information Age" offers some advantages for today's entrepreneurs. But with all this information it's easy to get lost in the sea of irrelevance. But within the sea of information we find knowledge and resources to empower today's producers.
So we have Producers and Employees. Mainline public schools teach students how to be on an assembly line and to be an employee in the way that it's curriculums are set up. It's best to Home School your children. That way you know what they are being taught. Parents need to emphasize personalized, individual educational opinions for their youth and to be prepare them to be producers - whether as entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs- rather than cultivating in them dependence on employeeship.
A society of Producers is more likely to promote freedom than a society of dependents.

FreedomShift Intro
In the Introduction to his book "FreedomShift" Oliver DeMille writes that although it may seem that we are loosing our freedoms, "our culture of idealism heroism and sacrifice is not lost." He says that even though we see moral courage tenacity and altruism (sacrificing ourselves for the happiness and well-being of others), there are still a remnant of people who still take risks, endure hardships and make difficult choices. We're still patriotic, honor our flag and our brothers and sisters who serve in our military. But why are we on this slippery slope of moral decay?
A Spanish author and poet Santayana said that a people that forget history is destined to repeat it. (paraphrase)
A "FreedomShift" is needed today and he purposes the "3 Choices to Reclaim America's Destiny." Title and subtitle.
The 3 choices are
1. A Revolution of Entrepreneurship
2. The Rise of the Independents
3. Building and Leading the New Tribes
