2023 activities at Bezaleel Education Center

Students contine to plant trees at Bezaleel.

The students (boys and girls) are learning to play the marimba, the national instrument.

The students and church leaders planted 367 avocado trees at the Bezaleel School. The money for the trees was donated by Mennonite Men, MCUSA.

Inauguration of the musical instruments and sound system for Bezaleel. The school just replaced those destroyed in the flood. They celebrate with singing, prayer, and words of gratitude.

This year the school had a bumper crop of cauliflower. Alejandro, a graduate, is now teaching at the school as well as instructing students in gardening. Some of the vegetables are consumed by the students and others are sold for income for the school.

Bezaleel School auditorium has been repainted.
Marimba was bought to replace the one damaged in the flood. We are grateful for donations that made this purchase possible. They will also be replacing other instruments that were destroyed.
