Fall craft show season is beginning and there are just under 2 weeks until the Fall Craft & Vendor Market at Whitaker Farm!

This heat is brutal! Lots of vendors are starting to pack up, so if you want to pop by don’t wait!

All set up in Pleasant Garden! Leah has lots of diamond dot pieces to sell and of course I have wallets, purses, and lots of racing items to sell.

We’ll be here until 3 or until we get rained out!

Leah and I will be set up at the Pleasant Garden Farmer's Market this afternoon starting at 3:00pm.

I have my usual lineup of wallets, lanyards, eyewear cases, and purses and Leah will be selling some super cute Diamond Dot pieces- plant stakes, bookmarks, and paintings! Come see us!

She’s just about finished! Once I get final assembly done I’ll give you a tour of all of the bells and whistles. This one was so much fun to make and has lots of techniques I’ve never tried. I love a good challenge!

Another day, another swimsuit!

I’ll be set up at the Petty Museum this Saturday for Pettyfest. Along with my usual lineup of bags and wallets, I’ve got a table full of racing-themed pieces and some items I haven’t had a chance to photograph.

Custom swimsuits, round 2!

When I’m not sewing bags, I’m usually making custom pieces for my tall, slender girls.

It’s very hard to find one-piece suits that fit, so after some major pattern alterations we’ve got some swim-team ready options! This is the first of a handful I’ve got on my sewing desk.

If you’re feeling waterproof, come join me this Saturday at the Cruise-in.

I’ll be under the awning out of the rain with my usual purses and wallets as well as LOTS of racing themed items and a few new products- sunglasses cases and chapstick holder keychains!

Sunglasses Cases have officially joined the lineup for my next event! They look so cute all lined up in their rack. 💜

Custom order mini wallet! I had *just* enough of the lining fabric from her original purse to do this one and I’m sooo glad I kept the scraps!

Tote bag purse, Take 2!

Tester bag sewn today. This one has ALL the bells and whistles! Center divider pocket, zipper and slip pockets inside, magnetic closure, a key ring clip, and strap connectors that give an upscale purse look.

This one is available for purchase for $130 + shipping when applicable.

When hand making purses, there are lots of small details that help to make my products look good and last a long time. I’ll be highlighting a few of them to show what goes into a well-made bag!

In today’s photo:

- When adding hardware like rivets, snaps, and my custom labels, I add a scrap of either decovil or Kraft-Tex. The reinforcement prevents hardware from pulling through or tearing the fabric over time.

- Likewise, adding a small piece of duct tape over the more rough-edged hardware pieces prevents damage to the fabric where it might rub over time.
