Please note that our listed office hours are for the entire health department. Our team is always available after hours through direct community outreach, testing centers at retail & social venues, testing at college events, and even at private parties if need

Welcome to National STI Awareness Week! The S**G Team is dedicated to the education and prevention of STI’s.
Our theme for today, brought to you by the CDC, is “Talk. Text. Treat.” In efforts to prevent the acquisition of STI’s, it is imperative to talk to sexual partners, get tested regularly or as needed, and get treated properly and in a timely manner.

Today is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a day to raise awareness about the impact of HIV on women and show support for women and girls living with HIV.
S**G will be on the campus of NCA&T providing FREE testing to students. We will be at the student health center Wednesday February 8th 4-7pm no appointment needed!
Each year on December 1st, we recognize World AIDS Day. We take this opportunity to commemorate those who have died from AIDS-related illness, to show support for those living with HIV, to educate our community on HIV, and to unite in the fight against HIV.
Guilford County’s Sexual Health Action Group challenges you to:
-Rock the ribbon and show solidarity with millions worldwide.
-Get Tested to find out if you have HIV. If you are living with HIV, early treatment means you can live a healthy and productive life.
-Educate and encourage others to get tested by joining us at one of our free and confidential testing sites.

Day, Guilford County Sexual Health Action Group, in partnership with A.V. Blount Student Health Center will be hosting a FREE STI/HIV testing event to both students and community members. Pre-registration for testing is encouraged, but not required.
World AIDS Day, observed each year on December 1, is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV, and remember those who have died from an HIV-related illness. Started in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first-ever global health day. World AIDS Day is one of many awareness days campaigns with ongoing efforts to reduce HIV in the United States and to raise awareness about the importance of expanding access to HIV testing, prevention, screening, and treatment services.
Our weekly mobile clinic will be CLOSED tonight due to weather. We will be back open next Tuesday 3-6pm at 1100 E Wendover Avenue!
Sexual Health Action Group in partnership with will be hosting a Free Sexual Health Screening in our mobile testing unit outside of on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 from 10p-1a.
Triad health project will be hosting 2 Monkeypox vaccination clinics this week at their High Point location. Visit the link in our bio to pre-register for your Monkeypox vaccination. Walk-ups will also be accepted on the day of each clinic!
Remember that anyone can get Monkeypox so keep yourself and others safe and informed! Contact your local health department for testing and vaccination.
Every Tuesday S**G offers free and confidential STI/STD/HIV Testing at our mobile clinic located at 1100 E. Wendover Ave. in the Guilford County Health Department’s parking lot.
