Faculty and staff in ECU’s biochemical engineering concentration hosted middle school students from Pitt County Schools in the Life Sciences and Biotechnology Building as part of the Greenville Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Grow Local campaign. The students toured the building, conducted a chromatography experiment and learned about careers in the pharmaceutical industry.

Due to the anticipated impacts from Hurricane Ian, East Carolina University is making some changes to operations for Friday, Sept. 30.
Employees will operate under Condition 1 of the UNC System Adverse Weather & Emergency Event policy beginning at 7 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 until Saturday, Oct. 1 at noon.
