The Student Engagement team hit the road last week serving the community and visiting peer offices at UNCW! Summer is off to a great start!

We have so much to celebrate as two of our graduate assistants walk the stage and turn their tassel today! Congrats on your graduation Darius and Kelley - we are so proud of all you have accomplished! 💜💛🎉

Congrats to this month’s Student Organization of the Month!

The International Student Association is moving forward ECU’s Quality Enhancement Plan - Go Intercultural! The ISA only became a full student organization last Fall. Since then, the organization has grown into one of the most influential campus organization, bringing together students, faculty and staff from all over the world. From International Coffee Hours to International Cookouts to Community Game Nights, the ISA has created spaces for all the different cultures at ECU to find expression. The ISA is the only global, multicultural organization for students, faculty and staff.

Over the last couple of months our professional staff and student leaders have traveled across the country exploring Atlanta, Denver, and Pittsburgh! These conference trips bring new ideas, fresh perspectives, and an excitement to bring it all back to campus!

Fridays can’t get much better when they’re spent with Pitt County Special Olympics!

The reestablishing SigEp chapter at East Carolina University is offering $3,000 in scholarships this spring through the Balanced Man Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to motivated undergraduate men who have demonstrated success in academics, athletics, leadership, and community involvement!

Since the start of the school year, YACHT Club has hosted a plethora of events for ECU students welcoming them into the new year. One of the signature events hosted was the ‘Welcome to the Culture’ event which showcased small black businesses and minority organizations on campus!

We're excited to unveil a new recognition program - Student Organization of the Month! Every month, Student Engagement will select a student organization to honor for its dedication and hard work in improving East Carolina University's campus. We firmly believe that their contributions have a significant impact on the lives of ECU students. This chosen student organization will also be announced as the winner through various marketing formats.
