It’s confirmed! Lady will be expecting puppies December 6th. We will do an xray puppy count in a few weeks. We are beyond excited. We already have a few on our list for a service dog prospect. We have a couple spots left for pet/companion homes. 🩵🩷🐾

We have had a very exciting weekend with Scout, Lady, and Roma. 🐾🐾 We are going home with 8 new titles from this weekend. Each of them had a new personal best during their FastCAT runs as well.

Scout earned his BCAT, FDC, and his ATT titles. His best run was 27.37 MPH, which is also his personal best!

Lady earned her BCAT, FDC, and her ATT titles. Lady’s best run was 24.13 MPH.

Roma earned her FDC and her ATT titles. Her new personal best is 24.16 MPH.

I’m so proud of my babies. You guys are amazing🥰

My Lady Love earned her ATT and her FDC titles today. She earned her VSWI this past week as well. She never ceases to amaze me.

Happy graduation Arie! 💚🐾 Artemis finished her one week puppy camp with flying colors. She is doing amazing with loose leash walking, auto sit, walking with changing paces, sit stay, down stay, place, down in flight, etc. I’m so proud of her accomplishments.🫶🏼

Welcome to bootcamp Arie (Artemis)! Artemis is lime green girl who was bred by trainer Brittani. Golden Retrievers of South Carolina Artemis is practicing down with her mama Lady. Artemis is starting puppy bootcamp this week and will be working on socializing, obedience, and manners. Welcome back baby girl! I can’t believe how much she has grown since I last saw her. 🥺🥰🩷🐾

Dream is the best little puppy. Crate training, potty training etc are going really great! She’s so snuggly🩷

Look who’s back for a sleep over!🩵🩵🩵 Cooper (red boy) is staying with us for the weekend. We love seeing this handsome boy. 🥰 Happy 20 weeks to Lady X Scout litter!

Welcome to our program Dream! 😍 Dream will be a prospect for our program while she grows, trains, earns titles, and completes health testing. ❤️🐾 Dream is from an excellent bloodline with lots of full health testing. She is already phenomenal. She hasn’t had a single accident, she is quiet in the crate, she goes potty very easily outside, and she’s a huge cuddle bug. We can’t wait to watch you grow and see what you accomplish! 🐾🐾🐾

Lucy (purple girl) earned her CGC, CGCA, and CGCU titles today. So impressive for a 4 month old puppy! I am so proud of you sweet girl. 💜🐾 You are definitely Lady’s twin. 🥰

My beautiful Roma earned her CGCA and CGCU title today. She now has 7 titles. I am so proud of her and all she has accomplished. Congrats babygirl’ 🩷🐾

Lady, Roma, Billie (Romas half sister), and Lucy (purple girl) had a blast at the dock today!

We did a makeup with Billie, and let the other 3 girls jump, swim, and build confidence on the dock with Lucy. Lucy was jumping off the ramp and loved playing with the other dogs. 🩷🐾

Common misconceptions….
AKC does not mean a puppy is well bred.
Pure breed does not mean a puppy is well bred.
Expensive does not mean a puppy is well bred.
Only doing DNA testing does not mean a breeders breeding stock is well bred.

Research and study the difference. It can save you so much heartache and money in the long run.

DON’T FORCE ME TO BE SOCIAL!
It may be really disappointing and frustrating when our dogs are not the social beings we expected them to be.

Many believe dogs should just naturally get along with other dogs, after all they’re the same species.

Some believe the “unsociable” dog has a behaviour problem that needs to be “fixed”.

Early, appropriately timed and correct socialisation is vitally important, but sometimes despite all of this, some dogs are just not that sociable.

Sometimes this can be improved, especially if the cause is from a negative experience, but genetics, breed tendencies, individual personalities, health and age all contribute to tolerance and sociability, which also change throughout life.

If we, as a human species, don’t get along with everyone we meet, how can we expect our dogs to?

Do we label every person that has an argument, doesn’t make friends with everyone they meet, doesn’t like every other person, prefers not to socialise - as having a problem that needs to be fixed?

Why is it so easy to accept that every individual person is different than to accept that every individual dog is different?

When we have done what we can to improve our dogs’ social skills, we need to accept and acknowledge our dogs for the individuals they are, allow and respect their choice of whether to be sociable or not and never force interactions that a dog is not comfortable with.
