Is it tough getting your older dog or dogs into your vehicle for nail trims? Does your cat go bonkers in the car?
Marley has been a nail trim client while a patient here at Greater Good for 10? or more years. He just transitioned to being an at home trim client as his mobility is declining.
He liked the convenience, he also liked me leaving:)
This was much easier for him and it is always less stressful for the human of an older dog or cat.
For 15.00 trip charge I can come to your home, depending on location. If your neighbor needs trims also, the charge can be divided.

Precious Cotton was a new nail trim client on Saturday. (First Cotton I had met since my own Spitz in the mid 80s).
Kudos to her owner for having her in a crate while traveling..we never know when it will save a life.
She was very good.

Three humans, 2 dogs, nail trims.....in one vehicle..
yesterday.
Not chaotic at all, seriously.
When Daisy realized why I was there, she maneuvered under the steering wheel to keep the gas and brake pedals company:)
Gracie was good for her trim especially for being such a big dog; was it an accident or just a coincidence that she kept sitting on the last paw??
Then Daisy returned to the back and was perfect.
Bonus-the Texans game was on!

Equally sweet, new and perfect for his trim today was Pugsy.
He was just as surprised as Bucket/Bouquet to have his car ride include nail torture, but just as good.
He made my job easy.

This dog and the next one were both new nail trim clients today, both very docile, very similar in sweet temperaments and similar in coloring.
They did not cross paths, wish the owners could have seen the other one.
This sweetie is named Bucket, but pronounced Bouquet, from the British TV show where a woman hates her new married name, so changes the pronunciation:)
This dogs name should be PreciousSweetiePerfectforNailTrim.

Ruby is a new nail trim client as of today and racked up an A-. ....on a first visit.
After all these years I am still amazed at how compliant cats are after riding in a car, then getting shots, then oh, joy, me!

She has been coming for trims since she was a puppy, has never gotten used to me...today she did a hum solo the entire time, but zero twitching and a record speed. Good girl!

The kittens pictured above and here are from a feral colony I inherited, oh joy. These and another pair are looking for homes, were snagged early enough to escape the need for taming. I dug them out of brambles at 3 weeks and trapped 2 other older juvies, who are coming around.
There are 12 others at the abandoned house. Sigh

With the explosion of resellers, crates are hard to find, so this double door was an exciting find!
It is a 23" long crate by Noz2Noz and no longer made. It is in excellent condition.
Can be picked up next Saturday 8/17 at one of the nail trim locations, Copperfield or Dairy Ashford.

This is Pilgrim, whom I met at this new at home nail trim session. He is a pet and has chicken buddies also.
With four large dogs this owner said I was saving her sanity by going to her house.

The ladies are : Goose, who used to be Lucy, then Luce, then.....

Maribelle sniffing my hand after not getting within 5 feet of me. She is very anxious so no attempt at all to trim..

When Preston first came for nail trims, he was a puppy with less than a stellar background. None of us involved in his care would have ever dreamed that I would be saying yesterday "You are the adult in the room:)"
Luckily we 3 humans were all sitting down when I uttered those words..we all cracked up!
He was, though, canine wise anyway.
We didn't doubt it at the beginning, just no room to think that far ahead with his maybe "I am the boss" brain.
He was a normal puppy with a lil extra attitude.
Preston found great adopters with some behavioral guidance and it has worked wonders.
He has matured a lot.
Now he shares attention, sometimes begrudgingly with new sister Sky..she is definitely a puppy!
Thank goodness her favorite activity is tummy rubbing.
Preston is used to the camera, no clue why he hid under the chair. Then he came out for all of the
"Good boy!"s

Quality control check on the Foraging Mat. It is an All Paws up review, esp good because gorgeous red Preston is not traditionally a fan of kibble.
The mat makes it fun while engaging the brain.

Flirt may have finally gotten used to me triming her nails; today she was not the least bit nervous. That makes me feel good.
When the owners are happy that thy can't hear clicking, that makes me feel good also.

Precious Lucy is almost 15 years old and until recently self trimmed her nails by walking.
Today was our first visit, in Jersey Village. After 3 nails she made it very clear she wanted it to be our last.
She has a great owner, beds in multiple places and real meat treats already out when I got there. When she stopped being interested in the treats and wanted me to see all of her teeth, we stopped.
I should carry muzzles, even though rarely needed. Will go back with one.
I love her face.

Roxxy is one of my all time(which is a loooong time, I started Pet Stuff Resale in 1997) favorite clients.
She thinks its Christmas any time a stuffie comes home. That's often as she has a high slaughter rate.
She LOVES her stuffies. Until she doesn't. Then off with their heads.
I make sure she has back ups.
Then I find her more.
This is a veteran fishy. She has had it since Saturday afternoon!

Tobie got a new bed also. This was a great find as it is tough to find a bed for a 3.2 lb dog.

Lapa and Drover keep me on my toes when they come for nail trims.
I think Lapa is uncomfortable with orthopedic issues, she is calmer with her muzzle on, so we leave it even for pictures.
Drover is calm only when asleep, I suspect:)

His owner does a good job of holding both babies and all nails were done.
