Today team Greenville conducted its monthly pool function, after the CFT we took the opportunity to recognize 2 of our Poolees who have been going the extra mile while in the delayed entry program. Poolee Blocker received the Poolee of the month award and Poolee Haddox received the bloodhound award for referrals. These young men have done an outstanding job in the delayed entry program and will be shipping off to Parris Island later this month! 💪

Better late than never! On May 4th 2024 RSS Greenville conducted its change of command ceremony where Ssgt Rodriguez turned over command of the office to Sgt Collin Flynn! A Marine Corps change of command ceremony is a significant event that holds great importance within the Marine Corps.
The change of command ceremony is a long-standing tradition in the Marine Corps that symbolizes the transfer of authority and responsibility from one leader to another. It is a formal and solemn event that honors the outgoing commander for their service and welcomes the incoming commander to their new role.

Excited to announce Trinity Metts on being one of this year’s winner of a $180,000 Marine Corps NROTC Scholarship! She was 1 of the 8 winners selected this year. Her hard work and determination placed her in the position of victory. She competed against more than 300 other applicants with only 8 being selected.

The Marine Corps NROTC (Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps) scholarship is a highly competitive program that offers financial assistance to qualified individuals pursuing a commission as a Marine Corps officer. The scholarship covers full tuition, fees, textbooks, and a monthly stipend for living expenses. In exchange for receiving the scholarship, recipients commit to serving as commissioned officers in the Marine Corps upon graduation. This prestigious scholarship provides opportunities for leadership development, military training, and academic excellence, preparing recipients for successful careers in the Marine Corps.
