I'm ready for my G6!
The Cirrus Aircraft SR-22T G6 is simply amazing. We picked up our new Cirrus yesterday at the new Cirrus Vision Center in Knoxville, TN. They literally rolled out the red carpet for us (as they do for all of their customers) when we picked up the airplane. I'm such a fan of Cirrus because they never settle for being "good enough". Every year, they push the bar higher! The design and attention to detail on my new SR-22T is simply amazing. This airplane allows me to fly an air show or Red Bull Air Race on the weekend and be home on Sunday night to be with my family. And you can't put a price tag on that!!

We were going to say that you don't need to worry about this in South Carolina, but then Mother Nature dumped more than a few inches of snow on us this past weekend. Stay warm and keep flying!
Preheat safely. When oil temp has reached 100° F & pressure does not exceed 70 psi at 2500 RPMs, your Cirrus piston engine has been sufficiently warmed up to accept full rated power.
This is an amazing looking aircraft. Generation 6 is turning heads left and right!

It's getting cold out there! Some good advice for our cold weather flyers, but make sure the mag switch is off first!
If the engine on your has been cold-soaked, its recommended that the propeller be pulled through by hand several times to break loose and limber up the oil. This procedure also reduces power draw on the battery if a battery start is made.
