Did you enjoy the Warbird this past weekend? Well the 2nd Annual Army Aviation Heritage Celebration is this Saturday, October 14th. It's a hangar dance!
This will be a 1940's themed hangar dance. Period era dressed is encouraged but not required. How much fun is this? A Lot!
Oh, the P40 is coming. The T6 from Warbird Adventures will be there offering instructional flights on Saturday too.

Today marks the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States that killed 2,750 people in New York, 184 at the Pentagon, and 40 in Pennsylvania; all 19 terrorists also died. Included in the total in New York City were more than 400 police officers and firefighters, who had lost their lives after rushing to the scene and into the towers. Stratos Aviation is happy to announce a significant milestone in the journey of one of our dedicated flight students, Kirill Kolesnikov! After rigorous training and unwavering commitment, Kirill has successfully obtained their pilot's license. Their hard work, dedication, and focus on safety have been commendable throughout their training. This accomplishment marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in their aviation career, and we couldn't be prouder to have played a part in their journey.

Jimmy had a love of flying cultivated when he was in college. He finally got his private pilots license at 40 years old. He was a commercial pilot with multi-engine land and sea aircraft certifications.

Photos: See what was found during a FOD walk at Greenville Downtown Airport The Greenville Downtown Airport welcomed 67 volunteers to clean up its runway, taxiways and ramps for a FOD walk on Aug. 19.
Our annual Foreign Object Debris walk was held on Aviation_day, August 19th. We had a great turn out to watch the sun rise and pick up debris that can damage planes and injure people when thrown from a propellor or jet wash. Approximately 67 individuals and groups like the Civil Air Patrol - Greenville Composite Squadron, Blue Ridge Council, Boy Scouts of America, and Greenville Tech Charter High School, Barton Campus.
