❗️❗️ECU First Day Opt Out Approaching❗️❗️

ECU First Day is a program that lowers the cost of course materials and ensures undergraduate students have their required course materials on the first day of class. Enrollment in the program is automatic, and the cost is $20 per credit hour per term.

The opt-out date is quickly approaching! Aug 27th is the last day to respond!

ECU offers so many events and organizations for all students to get connected and build their community on campus! 🏴‍☠️👥

Incoming Parents and Families attending Orientation, you're invited to our special event Timeout With Parents! This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other families, meet administrators and staff, and enjoy a beverage after a long day at Orientation.

📅 Date: Day 1 of Orientation
🕒 Time: 5 pm to 6:30 pm
📍 Location: Uptown Brewing Company

Directions:

🚌 Shuttle: ECU Transit will be providing a shuttle every 15 minutes to Uptown Brewing starting at 4:45pm. The shuttle will pick up at the Main Campus Student Center and drop off on the corner of Evans St, leaving only a 30 ft walk to the brewery. You will be able to hop on at the drop-off location to get a ride back to the student center. The last shuttle will leave at 6:30pm.

🚶‍♀️🚶Walking: Leaving from the back side of the Main Campus Student Center, head down past the Main Campus Library and through the pillars, turn left and head past the Old Cafeteria Complex, head around past Greene Residence Hall, down to the West End Dining Hall, go in between the West End Dining Hall and Clement Residence Hall, next cross the street at the crosswalk and walk past Chicos to Cotanche St, head up Cotanche St and make a left at the intersection of 5th St and Cotanche, next head a block down 5th St and turn right at the intersection of 5th St and Evans. Finally, walk a half block and Uptown Brewing Company will be on your left. Estimated Travel Time: 10 minutes.

🚗 Driving: Leaving from the parking deck, head down Charles St to the stoplight, make a right onto 10th St, head two blocks to the second stoplight and make a right onto Evans St, head up two blocks and make a left into the Five Points Plaza parking lot (parking is free).
