Blu would like to reach out to all of our guests , our number one priority is the health and safety of all the members of our community and staff. We are monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) closely, and it is still our mission to provide a great and safe experience despite the circumstances.

Beyond simply monitoring the situation, we are taking measures to ensure our guests are safe and secure. We are currently suspending the use of glassware and the use of only disposable ware, we have disinfected the entire establishment and incorporating extra cleaning measure. We have asked all of our staff to use gloves at all times even when serving our guests to stop any possible cross contamination

We are in the etertainment business and our guests are the utmost importance to us as well as health and safety. We thank you for your continued support, and we will continue to keep you informed as we take additional action.

Our club capacity is less than 150 people which is well below safe amount for mass gathering of 200 or less.

Over the past year, Proud and Out at BLU has offered a mid-week option for our LGBTQ community who may not go out on the weekends.

Our partnerships with Upstate Pride and The Greenville Sisters have provided an eclectic array of events and programs, but recently we have noticed less and less attendance and engagement from our community.

We understand that spring in the Upstate is a beautiful time and that many take advantage of our wonderful weather, scenic natural beauty and increase in outdoor activities.

So it is bittersweet that we announce that Proud and Out at Blu will discontinue after tonight.

BLU remains committed to being a safe, inclusive space for everyone to enjoy and express themselves. We serve the entire upstate and will always welcome our LGBTQ friends and family.

We want to thank you all for your support and encouragement over the last year and look forward to seeing you all, wherever we may meet again.
