Beverly Raelene Brigham passed away on August 16, 2024, in Laurens, South Carolina.

Bev joined Morningside in 1989. We thank the Lord for her testimony of salvation and her 35 years of faithful membership.

A visitation for Beverly will be held at Mackey Funerals at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11 am.

The wind kept us inside, but it didn't stop the fun! We had a great time at Back to School BOUNCE welcoming families from our community and encouraging them to sign up for our Awana Bible memory prorgram. Thanks to all our volunteers!

Carriacou is a small Caribbean island that was devastated by Hurricane Beryl. ODBM missionaries planted Open Door Baptist Church and then turned it over to a national pastor, Tyronn Polson. The roof of the church building was destroyed along with most of the buildings on the island. ODBM missionaries John & Karen McPherson were there for over 20 years and are now living/ministering in the US. John is going down to Carriacou this week to survey the damage by the hurricane and find ways that we send relief and supplies.
