I am looking for people of all ages, shapes, and sizes for a Kayak photoshoot (Kayak weight limit of 300lbs, though.) The kayaks are from Tucktec, which is a foldable kayak! I will photograph you putting the kayak together (it's easy), kayaking on the water etc. It will take approximately 1-2 Hours. Karolina in Greenville. What do ya think? I was trying to push the limits on angles and come up with less used perspectives.

Recently and were nice enough to put us up in their newly acquired hotel right on the ocean in Myrtle Beach. Karolina and I needed a little rest, and Homewood Suites came to the rescue.

Situated perfectly in the heart of Myrtle Beach, this newly renovated and recently aquired hotel couldn't be in a better spot if you like being in the middle of the activities at Myrtle Beach. They have an indoor waterpark, full scale restaurant, and beachfront property. The view is serene and the food is comforting. The boardwalk is just outside, as well as the beach. Walk out your door and right into the Atlantic Ocean! Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and clean. The staff even pays attention to small details and had a nice welcome gift of chocolate covered strawberries for us! What's a nice respite this was. Karolina and I are so thankful to and for putting us up in their hotel.

It’s easy to get info/war fatigue for somewhere so far away, but now more than ever the people of Ukraine need our help and support! Things are nowhere close to being resolved and individuals and families will be picking up the pieces for years to come. We have an amazing community here in the Upstate that is dedicated to impact both locally and internationally, so we have banded together with numerous businesses to raise money and want you to be a part of it too!

Simply put: We are running a big T-shirt design contest and sale with ALL proceeds going to directly help Ukrainian efforts. Direct Support Ukraine has been raising funds for months with 100% of donations going directly to provide life-saving food, medicine, evacuations, shelter, and supplies.

The rules and info:
1. Anyone can submit a design! Winner receives cash prize and free shirt!
2. Design should represent solidarity and support for Ukraine. Design must be wholly original and not contain any copyright material.

3. Design will be printed in up to 2 solid colors. Gradients and transparencies cannot be used.

5. Submission window closes at midnight on Monday, May 9th.

The vendors at Gather GVL have chosen DIRECT SUPPORT UKRAINE as the local avenue in Greenville to support Ukraine and will be donating a portion of sales this Friday, April 1! There will also be a raffle held benefitting Direct Support Ukraine- tickets are $1 or $4/ Five Tickets. The grand prize is TWO HOURS OF EVENT SPACE AT GATHER GVL for you and 99 friends!

Direct Support Ukraine is a local grassroots movement by Jack and Karolina Connolly, supporting our direct connections on the ground in Ukraine that are saving lives by evacuating people, providing food, housing, medical supplies and care.
