I just wanted to pop in to say I’m still here, but life has been crazy lately! There’s a lot shifting in my family’s life right now (jobs, moving, etc.) so my online presence has been less lately.

These changes may also limit my availability & amount of sessions I take going into this summer/early fall, so if you’re wanting to book me this year, I highly recommend reaching out soon! I still plan to do fall mini-sessions & will let you know when I solidify a date.

Honesty time. ⬇️

Just because you’re not keeping up with the trends, doesn’t mean you’re any less of a photographer or entrepreneur.

I was talking with a friend recently about how drastically the photography industry has changed & how it feels almost impossible to keep up with the trends. Almost every photographer out there is putting out reels daily, offering mentorships & education, starting a podcast, and the list goes on.

Not only that, but a certain lifestyle is being marketed (gorgeous mountain views, ocean scenes, exotic locations) along with photography services and sometimes it feels like I can’t be a part of the community anymore because I don’t and never will have an elaborate lifestyle. Which we all know isn’t the truth, but sometimes imposter syndrome gets the best of you. 😅

The truth is, this year I’ve learned to embrace a slower pace. I think we can easily believe the lie that just because we’re not keeping up with everyone else, it must mean we’re not “successful”. I don’t think hustle culture is necessarily a bad thing, but if you choose it over rest, Jesus, family & your own health, then it becomes a problem. And I’m guilty to say I’ve done it before. 🙋🏼‍♀️

So if you’re looking for a photographer to capture those real authentic moments with family or your loved one to cherish, I’m your girl. And to those of you who read through this whole post, thank you! Leave me a 📸

Yesterday I shot my last couple for the year and it’s always a bittersweet moment! Celebrating because I realize that I made it through another hectic year. 😅 But also being extremely grateful for each and every one of you. This has been my busiest year yet & so rewarding thanks to all of you! ♥️

Now excuse me while I go crash & hibernate until the new year. 😂

I’m so excited to finally be able to share these bridals of my gorgeous best friend! 🥺 It was so hard not to share any sneak peeks the past couple weeks! Ashley is a fall queen if I do say so myself. ✨🍂

Baby Martha stole my heart & she’s not getting it back. 😍 I love when families continue to let me create memories of them every year, especially when they’re friends!

This week has been full of shoots, driving, emails & editing & I’m not ashamed to say I’ve been living off caffeine. 😂

I just announced on my stories this morning that my calendar is closed for bookings for the rest of the year! Even though I’m not taking shoots for the rest of 2021, I’m still booking for 2022 so don’t hesitate to reach out!
