Someone recently asked me to describe my style and it got me thinking about the subtle shift I’ve taken in my design direction. I’ve always been naturalistic and garden inspired, but my trajectory has been toward a more painterly, fine art approach. For me arrangements are art and flowers are my medium. I love layered blooms, textures and tones. I’m like a painter with my petals!

Hey y’all! I’m Kate, the face behind the blooms, owner and creative director of Kate Asire Flowers. In over a decade of slinging flowers I’ve come to love my clients and this community of wedding professionals more than I can express. What started as a dream has become my life and each day I wake up grateful to do what I love.

At KAF we don’t just design flowers, we create works of art, carefully selecting each bloom, sprig and leaf for a layered, textured and rich effect. Our care doesn’t stop with the flowers either. Our team is meticulous with our communication and organization and we thrive on exhilarating collaborations with vendor teams and creative partners.

July abundance in a less than expected color palette 🎨
With my background in art and color theory I’m always thinking about building colors in a way that leans into the slightly off shades. The warm reds, muddy mauves, the rusts and the hint of chartreuse to add just a touch of sourness to the palette. It’s not unlike cooking in a way just for the eyes, not the mouth although in this case you could totally eat the foraged blackberries!

Michael and I are truly over the moon and Solly cannot wait to meet "baby brother" and be a big brother. While our lives are about to get that much more hectic and wild, we wouldn't change a thing and love living this life together.

Flower arches are my all time ceremony design. Your guest can’t stop taking pictures under it and all of your ceremony photos have a crown of blooms. ’s pear, cherry, delphinium and hellebore arch deserves a permanent place on the grid. This beauty was a massive team effort designed in the pouring rain in much less than ideal circumstances but you would never know it!
