We regret to inform you that due to the extensive power outages and hazardous road conditions caused by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, SCCT has made the difficult decision to cancel all performances of Junie B. Jones The Musical and Balloonacy scheduled for this weekend (9/28-9/29). The safety of our staff, artists, and patrons is our highest priority, and we believe this is the most responsible course of action.
We understand you may have questions regarding your tickets, and we are here to assist. However, we kindly ask for your patience as we navigate the process of rebooking, exchanges, and refunds for the 11 performances affected this weekend. SCCT phones are down, and the majority of our staff is without power, so we ask that ticketholders check their email for more details and instructions. We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to navigate the aftermath of this storm. Stay safe!
Unfortunately, we must cancel the 10:30 AM and 2 PM performances of both Junie B. Jones and Balloonacy on Saturday (September 28) due to continued power outages and safety concerns.
SCCT phones are down, but our box office will begin contacting ticketholders tomorrow to arrange exchanges and refunds.
We appreciate your patience as we are navigating the aftermath of this storm. Stay safe!

🌟 A Long Time Ago in a Theatre Not So Far, Far Away… 🌟
Three years ago, a young Padawan named Genesis Garza embarked on his journey at SCCT, bringing balance to the stage and mastering the technical arts with the precision of a Jedi. Today, we celebrate his workiversary and his incredible impact in our galaxy!
From building sets that rival the Death Star to creating lighting that could guide us through the darkest parts of the galaxy, Genesis has been a true force in our theatre family. 🎭✨
Thank you, Genesis, for three stellar years of dedication, creativity, and lightspeed problem-solving. May the force be with you as you continue to inspire and amaze us all!
Don’t forget to register for our classes this semester! We offer options for all grade levels and interests, but time to register is running out - don’t miss out!
Each year, we are so fortunate to receive support from many local businesses. One way small businesses can help SCCT empower young people and their families is by placing an ad in our playbills. Thank you to our 23-24 advertisers!
