Our 10am Kids BJJ class will be CANCELED this Saturday September 14 due to the Newbreed tournament in Greenville. Our instructors will be attending to coach some of our kids that are competing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause (all other classes and the open mat are on).

We will resume our regular schedule on Monday September 16.

Another IBJJF Master Worlds is in the books! With over 10,000 competitors, we had several students from Alliance represented us proudly. There were some ups and downs this past weekend, but we are always proud of our students for stepping up to challenge themselves on the big stage.

For the first time, Alliance won the World Master Championship in both the male and female divisions!

Congratulations to Karl on his silver medal—he was the only student from Alliance Greenville to medal this weekend at Master Worlds! I know you were aiming for first place, but you came so close. We are proud of you, sir! Also, Bill James, Karl’s student, did an amazing job and secured third place. At the Jiu Jitsu Con, Mini represented the team with a third place in his No Gi division, and Ethan also earned third place in the Jiu Jitsu Con Kids event.

Our representatives from Sacramento, under Precision, also put on a fantastic performance. Kelsey placed first in her division, earning not just the gold medal but also her black belt on the podium—congratulations, Kelsey! Lyzz and Rick both took second, while Shellie and Anita snagged bronze in their respective divisions.

The most important part of this journey is the experience we share together. We know this weekend didn’t go as perfectly as we had hoped, but we had a great time together. The Old Master is one of our favorite trips because of the wonderful memories we create there.

We are extremely proud of all the competitors and coaches who helped us achieve such a unique feat!
