I feel like the entire world is sleeping on Sumatran Short Tailed Pythons. Would you look at these!? 🤩 🐍

Boiga melanota! It’s been rewarding raising up these babies. They are starting to take off. The final pic is my largest female who I’ve decided can use a new address as well.

Here’s a neat lavender albino that hatched last year. The contrast is exceptional between the white and yellow. It appears like it has black pastel- although the pairing was just lavender to het lavender. I love the look so much I decided to keep it!

Highs and lows. I’m holding out hope for this rough scaled python clutch. I separated the bad eggs and am monitoring them closely. Just a few weeks to go!

I’ve been keeping two blue barons racers that were born with a slight kink in their neck. It’s still noticeable if you know where to look- and hasn’t appeared to negatively affect their movements.

Rhino Ratsnake eggs on the ground. Lastbyear was the first year I didn’t hatch any rhinos in the nine years I’ve been keeping them. I’ll be happy to move past that statistic this year as I hope for more clutches.

Five times this rough scaled python has laid eggs… Zero times has she laid them in the egg box I provide her. 🤷‍♂️

Baby mangrove snakes are doing well. They should be ready soon.

Still have some lovely green cat snakes (Boiga cyanea) for interested keepers.

Rough scaled python offspring from 2022. Look at that tail! I really like the roughies that have higher contrast on their tails.

Two female caramels that hatched last year (2023.) I like the dark contrast and how variable these can be. Why aren’t these more popular?

When I started keeping ball pythons recently, I wanted to create a pure white snake with black spots (suma, piebald.) This year might see that goal achieved. This is a suma (super mahogany), het piebald female to a super Enchi, mahogany, GeneX, yellowbelly, piebald male.

New skin! This is Shamrock. She’s one of the first rhino Ratsnakes I ever acquired. She was shy for a few years and her personality has turned a corner. She’s not as shy anymore.

Good sign for more Diamond pythons on 2024 😃
