June is Reunification Month, a time to celebrate the powerful bond between children and their families. At CASA Jefferson, we believe that every child deserves the chance to grow up in a loving, stable home. Our dedicated advocates play a crucial role in making this possible by being the voice for children in foster care, ensuring their needs and best interests are always heard and met.
As an advocate, you can help pave the way for a child's reunification with their family by:
- Providing valuable insights and recommendations to the court.
- Ensuring children receive the services and support they need.
- Building a strong, trusting relationship with the child and their family.
Join us in our mission to support reunification and make a lasting impact on a child's life. Together, we can help families come back together and create brighter futures for our children.

Our Story
In homes across America, thousands of abused and neglected children are thrust into the court system each day through no fault of their own. Lawyers represent the state and the parents or guardians, and judges will rule to the best of their ability. But the children are often left out of a process that will ultimately direct the future of their lives.
Working with the court system, CASA volunteers help facilitate and monitor a child's case to ensure that his or her interests are served. They help in gathering and giving information to the judge and child welfare worker. Advocates are a powerful voice in court for children. They provide the link between a life of turmoil and a promising future. We need you to help us continue to advocate for our children in foster care. Will you help us today?
