The Metairie Road St. Patrick’s Day Parade will now roll on Sunday, April 7 at noon due to the anticipated inclement weather forecast for this Sunday (March 17) which was when the parade was originally scheduled to roll.

The St. Patrick’s Day Classic, a 2-mile race that starts outside Gennaro’s Restaurant/Bar at Metairie Road and North Causeway Boulevard, will still take place this Sunday; however, it will be rescheduled to take place at 9 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. due to the weather.
