3 exercises you need to add to your workouts if you’ve stopped seeing glute gains 🍑 If you’re still eating enough to fuel muscle growth and you’ve been training for a while but your progress has plateaued, you might need to switch up a few exercises in order to provide your glutes with a new stimulus in order for them to grow 💫 1. B-Stance RDLs: unilateral exercises often require greater muscle activation in order to maintain balance and stability. Unilateral exercises allow you to train with effort and intensity (essential for hypertrophy). They often allow for better mind to muscle connection, meaning better glute activation! 2. B-Stance Hip Thrusts: similar to B-Stance RDLs, these will recruit more muscle fibres in order to stabilise you during the movement. Greater glute activation = greater glute gains. 3. Paused Sumo Squats: Sumo Squats are already a great exercise for your glutes, but by adding a pause halfway down AND at the bottom, your increasing your muscle’s time under tension. Increased time under tension = greater activation = greater glute gains! Give some of these exercises a try in your next leg day if you want to fast forward your glute growth 💁🏼♀️
