New for 2024, one of my goals is that i wanted to start writing a blog where I can share in a more detailed manor about our business in a journal format vs sharing our day to day on a social media platform. We don’t like to use Facebook to really share detailed information and content since this is a public space. That being said I created two separate blogs: “The Diary of a Mompreneur Maker” and “WrightHouseHandmade”. One for my stories and adventures of being a mom, a maker, and a business and laser enthusiast, and the other for stories on our adventure with the laser and business aspects. I’m excited to tell my story and share my experiences and perhaps some insight into our life and what it takes to be a family business. Our first blog was posted earlier this month. The goal is to write at least one entry per month once I get the initial entries posted on each blog. Each blog has some pictures to go along with the timeline to give a little peek into our lives. The comments are turned on as well so feel free to check it out and leave a note if you enjoy it!

Happy 4 year birthday to Wright House Design Co’s official website! 🎉🥳🎈Wow, the changes we’ve made in the last 4 years is astounding. From new domain names, rebranding, revamping, and finding our footing.. it’s been a lot of work! We are finally at a place where we are confident in our branding and how user friendly the site is. The next goal for our business is our email lists and blog for our website and working on new product development. I’m working on a plan for something that ties my digital side of my business to the product side. Is anyone here a crafter who enjoys painting and making things like signs or tier tray pieces? I draw florals and seasonal pieces that would be perfect for DIY for crafters who are established and own their own supplies. I wondered if this would be something anyone would be interested in if I offered my designs as blanks.

We did a thing! We revamped our website and now it looks and runs even better than before!! We are still under construction but we are a fully functional site and business will continue as usual. Product listings will continue to be updated as we go forward. The goal was to find a way to combined my two product Etsy shops and my digital business into one website with cohesive branding and I think it was quite successful. We’re not back up and running from the holiday break yet but I just wanted to share, we are going to slowly start adding new valentines keychains and frame signs to the shop! 🙂

And that’s curtain! Any orders that were placed in time today will be filled and shipped sometime this week but as of right now, we are officially closed for Christmas! Our Etsy shops will remain open and our website is always available for shoppers but we will not be answering emails, making product, or shipping out any orders (other than the ones that made it on time this weekend) until 2024. We will announce when we’re back up and running after new years. We hope everyone has a safe, festive, and relaxing holiday season!
