We’d like to highlight a few more of our fantastic volunteer groups who recently supported Stuff the Bus! Volunteers from North Shore Gas packed over 170 backpacks, our friends from Jabil packed another 135, and Leaders United of Lake County members packed 125 backpacks.

These backpacks have already found homes throughout Lake County, in the hands of the students who need them.

An Early Learning Trail project at Lyon Magnet Elementary School desperately needed volunteers to paint, and so many community members united to lend their support.

A huge thank you to the UWLC Board members, Waukegan High School’s football team, members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, students from Stevenson High School, and Vertical Encounter - Waukegan for their fantastic support!

This extraordinary group created a colorful, fun, and interactive space where Lyon Magnet students and community families can learn through play.

A little rain didn't stop this fantastic group from ComEd! They pivoted from their outdoor painting plans to help Lyon Magnet Elementary School in Waukegan build a new library. Inside, they sorted and organized thousands of books, created bookmarks, and prepped books to help students build their home libraries. Their efforts made for an impactful and fun day!

144 Silly Snack Packs! This group of Trustmark volunteers packed some serious snack-tastic fun into each bag, perfect for kids and summer learning.

Every pack is filled with delicious, fun snacks and adorned with unique, playful decorations. Each pack also includes a handwritten joke card!

We are distributing these snack packs to children participating in our early learning programming this summer.
