Company in Lake Bluff is looking for Testers for Electric & Diesel Products. Starting pay is $22.00 an hour. Work hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Perform somewhat difficult test operations required to final test, inspect and troubleshoot complex electrical units. Work from test check off sheets, schematics, wire running lists, parts lists, prints and instructions. Visually inspect unit for completeness. Hook up unit to test equipment and panels, perform a variety of electrical tests to check for compliance with specifications. Make adjustments to bring components within specifications. Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions. Prepare report of findings. Use digital voltmeter, ammeter, oscilloscope, battery load panels, test panels, breakdown tester and hand tools. Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
Tend or operate machine that packages product.
Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.
Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels.

Unload/load materials and merchandise from incoming/outgoing vehicles and stack them to assigned places
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
