Exciting News!
Our Walk-Up Hygiene Closet is up and running! Referred clients can come up to the window to receive a bag with essential hygiene items, and a help guide.
Check out the other amazing work the volunteers from Wal-Mart did while at our office.
After helping with the cleaning supplies that were delivered, The Wal-Mart volunteers unloaded a HUGE delivery for our new Hygiene Closet, they took the time to neatly store the items on the shelves. Then they used elbow grease and helped clean the rooms that are part of the Hygiene Closet.
Thank you for your energy and efforts, you were an upbeat & enthusiastic group!
Talk about a group effort!
Home Depot assembled and donated 100 buckets FILLED with high quality cleaning supplies. As the fantastic duo arrived with their delivery, a quick-thinking team of volunteers from Wal-Mart arrived at our office. There were so many helpers, we were able to make a train to hand the buckets to each other - up a flight of stairs - making the work quick and easy on a hot summer day. Way to go!
The buckets will be dispersed to people needing a bit of a fresh start in Washington County.
United Way of Washington County had a blast helping out at a picnic night at Wheaton Park hosted by FCA! Members of the community were invited to stop by for fun games, fellowship, and great food! United Way volunteers were happily dishing out the hamburgers and hotdogs. WACO Fellowship Of Christian Athletes
