Using a professional-only scalpel blade, it removes up to two weeks of dead skin on the epidermis (top layer of skin) with results that last up to 3-4 weeks! Along with all of the additional benefits of removing fine vellus hairs, softening fine lines/wrinkles, speeding up your skin cell turnover rate, and having a much smoother foundation for your makeup, ladies!

Improving the surface texture and appearance of the skin, this also allows your skincare products to pe*****te deeper into the epidermis and increase their effectiveness!

• What skin type benefits the most from dermaplanning?

All skin types will benefit!

• How long does the service take, and is there any down time?

Dermaplaning only takes about 45 minutes depending if you come in with or without makeup on!
No down time, it is just recommended to avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours afterwards.

• Do you need a series of dermaplaning treatments or just one?

It is recommended to do a treatment every 4 weeks (about the length of one skin cycle), as this is how long the results usually last.

• What skin products should you use after a dermaplaning treatment?

Anything calming, moisturizing & anti-ageing. After dermaplaning is the perfect time to introduce active skincare products, such as Vitamin C serums or retinol, into your skincare regime as they really pe*****te the skin. Sunscreen is recommended as always, SPF 30 or above!
