It was very interesting watching other stylist work with their art. Even though each stylist has a different focus, it's fun to listen to their ideas and see the outcome!

We are all excited to be at a hair show again!!!
As Robert always wanted, we are the first to arrive and have our seats in the front row!
Can't wait to get started!!!

Our team is growing!!!
If you haven't already met her, this is Natalie! She is officially our new apprentice. She will study under the same program that Robert taught with the Barber Board. Im so fortunate, among so many other lessons, Robert also worked with me to learn how to teach. It feels good to have the opportunity to provide someone with the knowledge that I was given. Kristen has been a big help teaching Natalie too!
We are very excited about what the future holds for our team at KR Designs!!!

We are stocking up for the holidays!!! There are a few changes on some of the labels, and a new line of KR Designs products to try out if you haven't already.

The shop will be closed for our summer break the week of June 5th. We will return to normal hours on June 14th and will return all messages at that time. If you need to grab some products before then, you can stop by or, give us a call! 985-542-7354

New sign with our logo!!!

We still have the Natural Woman hairspray at the shop. We have sold out of the Sprayage but I am still looking for a distributor that may have some left. I am also still trying out many different hairsprays to find a replacement. There are a few contenders so far, just trying to narrow the choices down......

As a lot of you have heard, these two great hairsprays have been discontinued. While we are trying to find a suitable replacement, we still do have these hairsprays on hand. We have a 2 can limit on the Sprayage, and a 3 can limit on the Natural Woman while they last.
Remember, we still do ship products!

**CANCELATION/NO SHOW POILICY **

I am trying to help and accommodate each person, as you all are like family to us. But, with the changes for the shop, and it being only myself, I need help from you also!
I understand that everyone has unexpected events/emergencies arrise. There will be one grace allotment. For the 2nd event, there will be a charge as follows:

-24 hr CANCELATION POLICY-
We ask for at least 24-48 hour cancelation. If an appointment is not canceled within 24 hours of the appointment time, there will be a charge of half of the appointment cost.

-NO SHOW POLICY -
If there is a no call no-show:
-1st appointment will be forgiven.
-2nd appointment will be a full charge for the appointment scheduled

-LATE POLICY-
- If you are more than 5 minutes late for an appointment, it may result in a change of services, the order services are performed, or a rescheduled appointment at our discretion.
-15 Minutes late will be a rescheduled appointment with half of the service amount charged.

***CONFIRMATION CALLS ARE A COURTESY. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO KEEP UP WITH YOUR OWN APPTS ***

We keep a cancelation list at all times. If I dont have enough notice, I am unable to call someone from the list who is waiting for an appointment. When someone is late for an appointment, it is unfair to myself and to the other clients scheduled that day for me to run off schedule because someone else was late. These are not policies I want to enact, but there is not the flexibility of years before.
I want to be fair to everyone.
I want to help everyone, but in turn, I ask for help from each of you!

We finally have our signs for the street!
We had certain measurements we had to stay within, at least until there are more business in the building. Hopefully, later we can have a bigger sign with our logo on it. But this should help some of you find our new location! Also, we're finding it's easier for most to park in the bigger lot in the back of the building. There is another entrance in the "L" part of the corner of the building. But you're welcome to park in any of the lots.

After an extremely busy few weeks, we are ready for our big day tomorrow. Its our 1st day at the new shop on N. Morrison Blvd! Looking forward to seeing everyone there soon!

We will be closing the doors today at Robert‘s Hair Salon. We would like to thank every client from the bottom of our hearts for all the years of dedication and for allowing Robert and the girls to do what they love. You all have been more like family than clients, I can’t thank you all enough for allowing my wife to do exactly what she loved all her life. We love you all!!

Last day working with clients at the shop on Commerce St. Ending a big chapter, and starting a new one. Wish us luck!

Just wanted to update everyone.

This is bittersweet to say, but this will be the last week of us working at the shop on Commerce St. We will be moving this Saturday to our new location. After almost 18 years in the same building, it will be hardfor me to close that door for the last time. At the same time, exciting to be moving into our new building and getting settled. Many great memories were made in the old shop, but we will continue to make some great ones in the new one too.
We will remind everyone as we confirm appointments that we have moved so please listen to your messages.

**Important Update**

We are still in the same location for this week. We are waiting on some plumming work to be done at the new shop.

I apologize to the clients that I have not been able to accommodate. My book is over capacity right now. If anyone would like, I do have a wating list in case slots open in the future. If and when something opens I will contact clients, but the appointment book and clients flexibility will determine who can be accommodated. I wish I could take care of eveyone but I apologize that I am unable at this time.
There are a lot of changes happening at the shop. Next month we will be in a new location. We are aiming to be there by the 1st of the month. We will still have all of the products, and will still use the same color lines that we have always used. The phone number will remain the same as well.
The salon name is also something that will change though. I am unable to bring the name "Roberts" with us. So the new shop will be
KR Designs.
We will let the clients on the appointment book know when we confirm appointment as to which location we will be in.
We hope you all wish us well in this new chapter, and hopefully we will see you all there at some point. You are all welcome to stop by at our new place.

You meant the world to all of us, but especially to Robert. When he passed, you helped me get through one of the hardest times in my life. I will forever be grateful for that, and for so much more.

You were not just our boss, you were a big sister to Kristen and I. And for so long. We never thought you wouldn't be here to fuss at us. I'm going to miss it more than you would have ever thought. I'll try to fuss at Kristen some for you, but i wont have your touch. Maybe that part will take practice, lol.
You were family to all of the clients. Most watched you grow up in the shop. They will all miss you so very much too. As you and Robert would want, we will try our best to carry on with everything you both taught us.

Partrick, Huck, and all of your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. We will all do whatever we can to help them through this time, just as you did for me.
We'll miss you always.

Please be patient with us as we deal with such an unexpected tragic and great loss to our family.
