At 4:30 AM EST this board member got an email. In that email it stated that "YOUR ORDER HAS SHIPPED". Apparel is en route. Check your emails or just live vicariously through the unknown and be surprised when it shows up on your door step!!!!

The numbers are in. The campaign yielded a final sale of 281 items. This is going to give us enough of money to purchase 8 iPads with protective cases to ship to 8 survivors. In a couple of weeks we will reopen the campaign. To see if we can gain enough support to meet our goal of 325 items sold and 10 iPads. Stay tuned for more information.

We are at 16 hours left to order. We have a goal that we set when we launched of 300 items sold. We feel we can meet that goal within the next 16 hours.

Some things to remember.

1. Orders don't ship until a week AFTER the campaign closes. This means the projected ship date is Monday, November 20th, 2023.
2. We are very grateful and appreciative of your support for this campaign. Without you we wouldn't be able to help the survivors in this way.
3. If you made a purchase, your total number of items purchased can be counted as an entry for a survivor for an iPad. So if you are the parent of a survivor and you purchased 5 items when the entry opens you have 5 entries in for the iPad. If you don't have a survivor and you made a purchase you can still donate your entry to a survivor.by commenting under their name on the entry or messaging us.

This is the LAST weekend to place your order. You have approximately 40 hours to click the place order button to secure a shipment before the holidays. Last year the first campaign yielded a total of 276 items sold. We would like to see a total 300 items sold by the end of the campaign. The campaign end Sunday at 11:59pm EST. Remember that all the money we raise goes towards purchasing brand new Apple iPads and protective cases for the SURVIVORS of SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME.

We are at 2 days left!! Yesterday we talked about what the front of the shirt represented. Today we will discuss the back.

This year we have a record number on the back with 43 names. All of these represent a life loss from abuse. A deliberate act caused by an adult who was supposed to be caring for an infant or child under the age of 5. That adult was unable to maintain control of their emotions and feelings that were overwhelming. In a split-second decision their actions would ultimately be responsible for ending a life.

Some of these names represent a case where the original abuse was survivable and they left the hospital, but their last breath was drawn far too soon. Some survived only a couple years, others survived until 5 years of age, many not until 10. Only a few reached adulthood.

Then we have the ones who were rushed to the hospital and didn't even survive 48 hours. The ones who their families had to come and say goodbye to a very small baby or child. The ones who had were told, "your child is brain dead, it's time to turn off the machines and say your good-byes, would you consider organ donation?"

Mid Day Post!

We are 3 items away from being able to purchase another iPad. We can do this. The question is can we get 3 items purchased before dinner time?

We are now at 3 days left in the campaign. We wanted to share some stats with you. We collect MANY names. As in year's past each year the numbers go UP! This year's design has 200 survivors on the front of the design. These names represent actual living individuals who were shaken; many under 1 year of age but some who were closer to 5 years of age.

These are viewed by society as "the lucky ones" because they survived. Yes, they survived the abuse and trauma. Nearly half of the 200 names on here though, struggle every day in the aspect of just maintaining their body's functionality. They some will struggle to hold their own head up, roll over, stand, or walk. Other's will struggle to eat, swallow or speak. Some will struggle with being able to breathe, clear their throats, see or hear.

Then there's about 85 will look more typical and normal to you. These will be the ones who will be able maintain their body's functionality. However, they will struggle with the unseen. This includes aspects of their lives such as educational goals, behavioral issues, anger issues, sensory issues, but there will be no outside visual indicators.

If we are truly lucky we have 15 of these names who have no lasting or outward complications.

Let's let that sink in. Again there's only 200 names on the front here. This is only a very small fraction.

Well, it's been a hot minute, but we wanted to update everyone. The design is NEARLY done. We are currently in the 'nitpicking' stages. We are awaiting the appropriate file to be able to give the names a once over for spelling. With all that being said.....We cannot wait to LAUNCH. Stay tuned for updates.
