We are looking for a motivated and passionate cook to join our award winning team. Experience is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate for this position is motivated, energetic, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Cook Responsibilities:

Short-order cooking breakast/lunch menus
Prep cook stations daily
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
Rotate stock items as per established procedures
Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
Sautee, Broil, Steam, Fry, Roast, etc.
Basic Knife skills

Cook Requirements:

High school diploma/GED preferred
2+ years’ experience as a Cook in the restaurant industry (but we’re
willing to train the right candidate)
Able to read and follow standardized recipes
Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
ServeSafe Certification preferred
Culinary schooling is a plus but not required
