‘We Met at Tuck’: Get to Know Tuck Business Bridge Alumni Jacqueline and Chase Carpenter 08/24/2023

"I viewed Tuck Bridge as a highly valued business complement to my liberal arts focus in undergrad. I wanted to gain core business skills that I had not yet been exposed to during my undergraduate studies and internships," says Chase Carpenter D'08, Bridge'08.

Carpenter, senior director of strategy & analytics at The Chicago Cubs, met his wife Jackie Bender, an Emmy Award-winning TV host, producer & journalist, at Tuck Bridge in the summer of 2008.

We sat down with the Carpenters to learn more about how they met, their biggest takeaways from their Tuck Bridge experience, and what they’ve been up to since their time in Hanover.

‘We Met at Tuck’: Get to Know Tuck Business Bridge Alumni Jacqueline and Chase Carpenter For the Carpenters, the Tuck Business Bridge Program was a transformative experience—both professionally and personally.

Executive Education | From Business Bridge to the Advanced Management Program: Evan Woolley 11/16/2022

Imagine attending Tuck twice—nearly two decades apart.

For Evan Woolley, who attended Tuck Business Bridge in 2004, returning to Hanover for the Tuck Advanced Management Program (AMP) through Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth in 2022 was a full-circle moment.

We so enjoyed having Evan share his educational and professional journey in a Bridge career session this summer while he was back on campus.

"While the classes and faculty at Tuck Bridge were truly remarkable, the program would not be the same without the enthusiasm of other Bridgers. I was able to learn about empathy by observing others, engage in a host of stimulating conversations ranging from college athletics to the military, and also appreciate the varying perspectives we brought with us from our different walks of life."

"The Tuck Bridge program was by far the hardest experience I've had academically, but it came with the greatest reward. As a liberal arts major, Bridge challenged me to grow both as a student and a person. The structure and rigor of this program requires you to operate at your highest potential. I recommend Bridge to anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in business."
-Jordan McFadden (UCLA'20, Bridge'22)
