Learn the popular paint technique called Acrylic Pour! You’ll make 4-6 glass holiday ornaments in colors of your choice, all ready for gifting or decorating your own home. It’s fun and easy.
The class takes place on Wednesday, November 2 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and is limited to 12 participants. The cost for the class is $20.00, payable at the event, and all materials are included. Marbling artist, Heidi Finley, will lead the class in her home studio. We will carpool to this event and leave at 12:30pm. Must sign up at Friendship Center 231-526-6061.
The craft is messy, so participants should wear unimportant clothing and shoes. The ornaments need a day to dry and will be available at the Harbor Springs Friendship Center for pick-up later in the week.
Directions to 1555 Lake Grove Road, Petoskey:
From US 131 and US 31 intersection, take US 31 west towards Charlevoix three miles and turn left on Lake Grove Road. Take Lake Grove .2 miles south to the destination on left. Follow the driveway around the house to the left. The studio is located on the lower level of the backside of the house. Please park five cars with the nose or rear facing the house. Additional parking is available facing the garage, with a short walk back down to the studio.
