My favorite month of the year has been wiped out by Helene!
This is two cents worth on the statement the liberals are making (That Trump don't care about the Middle Class!
I am middle class and I remember what I had 4 years ago under Trump. I could buy $1.80 gas, I could afford to buy groceries, I could pay my electric bill.
I didn't have to worry about my Wife, Daughter and Granddaughters getting r***d and murdered by some illegal that has brought and turned a loose by our Biden/Harris Team. I know what I had under Trump. Grant it he wasn't perfect but he was a Great Leader and that's what we need now and not someone that wants to get rich off of our middle class and drive them down to third class to become Gates Foundation and Soras slaves. President Lincoln (Republican) freed
All Men. The Great Martin Luther King gave his life fighting for equal Rights for all. I don't think they would like the way we are headed now. The Rich and the slaves.( No Middle Class) Thats why we need to elect a Proven Leader and not someone that has already failed at her job.
Just Remember
"God Is In Control"
Yes I voted for The Outlaw and The Hillbilly!
I know what we'll be getting!
Tomorrow 55 years ago October 20th 1969 took this Oath. I Thomas O Boyd Do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God”
I will continue to do this to the day I die and will vote against one one trying to change it. I owe this to my Family ,Children and Grandchildren.
I challenge you to say "Good Morning" and Smile to the first 3 people you see today. It will make a difference 😁!

Update: Spartacus has left the shelter with his new family.
Another urgent call for a forever home! Spartacus is the bestest boy. He was adopted a month or so ago by some people who didn't deserve this handsome fella. We guess that when his personality didn't match his intimidating physical appearance, they dumped him. He was picked up as a stray on the street and returned to the shelter just a couple weeks after being adopted 😞 The adoption floor is full and with dogs pouring in daily, sad decisions will soon have to be made without some adoptions to open up kennel space. Spartacus deserves his happily ever after! He is sweet as pie and just a big hunk of love! Please come down to the shelter tomorrow between 12 and 4 and visit with Spartacus! You might just decide to make him your new best friend 🧡 The shelter is located at 4164 Mack Lane in Augusta.
Twin doelings for Nadine today. She is such a pro. She gives no sign of impending birth. She's just nibbling on hay, has a kid, looks around as if to say, "oh? what's this?," has another, cleans them up, and goes back to nibbling on hay. She is completely nonchalant about the whole thing. She is a wonderful dairy goat mom with a HUGE udder. She will keep the kids and us well supplied with milk for the rest of 2024.
Meet Jed, he is #6 for our 2024 calving season.
Say hello to Duey, our fifth calf of 2024, and the first bull. His mama was already bred to a SimAngus bull when we purchased her. The Lord has blessed us this year with problem-free calvings thus far. Our little herd is growing!
Heifer # 4, "Faith" because she is the daughter of Hope.
"Now FAITH is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen" (Heb. 11:1).
Sorry, Duane Lacy. So far, it appears to be the year of the heifer. We still have three more chances.
26 January, 2024, calves numbers two and three: "Joy" and "Jill." Their mother is a Beefmaster cross, and their father is SimAngus.
"Jan" is still waiting for her siblings to arrive!
Our first baby of 2024! Cowey's third calf takes after her daddy!
Christmas Billy Goat Bucklings! Who wouldn't love one or both of these guys for Christmas? They are Kinder-type (Nubian x Pygmy cross, heavy on the Nubian) dairy goat billies. They are seven months old, disbudded, dewormed, vaccinated and have had their feet trimmed. They are half brothers and have been raised together, so they get along just fine. They are intact, but I can band them if desired. I can even deliver them locally in time for Christmas! Rehoming fee applies. DM for more info.
Buy local grown beef.
Know what you’re buying. This picture has store beef (left), and farm beef (right). There is an obvious visible difference between the two! But the differences don’t stop there!
1. You may notice in the picture the color difference. The store bought could be pumped full of additives and water. There isn’t a guarantee of where that beef came from either. Yes, it may have USDA label on it but as long as that animal was packaged in the US, it can be called a Product of the USA. The meat in the package is not from one single cow, rather scraps from multiple cows. It could have came from Argentina, Canada, or Brazil.
2. The beef on the right is darker and is farm raised beef. It is filled with more nutrients & flavor. The ground is also from one cow and not just scraps from multiple cows.
3. Buying your beef Locally you are helping to buy a little girl dance shoes or a little boy baseball gear. Buying from the grocery store just lines the pockets of the already wealthy meat packers. Let’s help each other. We help you eat healthy, you help us provide for our families.
Buy from a local ranch/farm or Cowboy State Custom Meats!

After driving May down to the pond twice this morning the old statement "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink" comes to mind so I go get her 100 gallons of water where I could water her in a bucket 🪣 like she was at Hillcrest Farms Inc I get back with the tank of water and look where May is.
