Customer had yellow jackets getting in the adjacent room - sealed high hats . Fireplace cut out roof void - had to pull some soffit down. Deep reach for this photo over the hanger boards . Treated and removed most of it.

In July thru October , wasp activity increases with ground nests in landscapes. Yellow jackets are also building nests in the voids of structures ( walls and ceilings). The images are a few of the nests in some of our customers ceilings and walls. They had come through the drywall and filled the room with yellow jackets. If you see activity outside and any staining or wet spots inside near the area - you may have a nest within the wall or ceiling. Typical activity would look like an airport of wasps flying in and out of a specific spot. Monster taken out of a customers basement today - beauty lol 😆 🐝

Stinkbugs !! Homeowners will see an increase in stink bugs starting in September. Stink bugs will enter homes now to overwinter (Diapause) due to the cold temperatures. They will enter through small cracks and openings. They enter through cracks around your windows, doors, chimneys, soffits, etc. to avoid the cold and find a place to overwinter. Once inside, the warm temperatures will keep them active. In springtime, they will emerge from their overwintering locations and venture outside to forage for food and mate. This is why you will often see stink bugs on or around windows.
