Today marks the 9th anniversary of the historic Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, which granted marriage equality to same-sex couples across the United States. On June 26, 2015, love won as the highest court affirmed that the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to all, regardless of gender.
This right was gained through a difficult battle, but the war is not over.
