Nancy McMillen, a BridgeTrust teammate in our Louisville, Kentucky office volunteers with Team Levi. Levi is an 8-year-old boy with Down Syndrome who along with his family, has captured the heart of his community. This team raises money for Down Syndrome of Louisville/Southern Indiana. Nancy enjoys documenting their fundraising events in pictures. On Memorial Day Weekend, she participated in the “3rd Annual Love Doesn’t Count Chromosomes Car Show”. A lot of Team Levi members have classic cars and were able to solicit numerous entries for the show. Levi received his own car at the event. The local police department made an appearance and one of their own participated in the dunking booth! Almost $6,000 was raised and over 300 pictures were taken by Nancy!

At BridgeTrust Title Group we encourage our staff to volunteer in their communities. We believe even the smallest acts of kindness will encourage others to do likewise. We call it “One Good Deed Deserves Another”! Nancy McMillen, you really do make a difference!

Today we want to shine a light on our good deed doer, Lauren Cain of BridgeTrust Title Group-Raleigh, NC. Lauren recently joined others in an Orangetheory donation only workout to support coaches participating in the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge. Coaches from Eastern NC locations are raising money for Make-A-Wish and hiking 26.5 miles on the Sauratown Trail in one day. The group raised $48,000 for the cause. Lauren Cain, you really do make a difference!
