Over 100 years ago the government encouraged backyard poultry for self sufficiency. In crazy times like these we think it is still a good idea and healthier!!!

We will be offering 3, 1 day classes this summer at the farm if you would like to learn the ins and outs of raising chickens for eggs and meats as well as how to process and package them! These will be a lot of fun and very educational for the entire family!

Whirlpool gas range with matching microwave/exhaust combo. Everything is in working order and they are very clean. Less than 6 months old but due to closing the market we no longer need them. These will be available to pick up this Saturday in Hartford City. $750 buys the set, would prefer not to separate.

Opening our Market in Hartford City has been quite the adventure! We have met many great people and made many new friends. We have learned a lot and grown in ways we never could have imagined at the start. However we have made the decision to close the market in Hartford City and relocate it back to the farm like we had before. There were numerous reasons for making this decision but one of the biggest reasons was to be able to focus more on the farming and our family. The last day for the Hartford City Market to be open will be Friday, April 1st.

We will still have all of the same beautiful flowers, fresh produce, and tasty meats available at the farm. We will not however be continuing the restaurant part of the business with the exception of on weekends we will have fresh baked goods still available at the farm thanks to Indiana Cottage laws that allow this.

We welcome everyone to come out to the farm and be able to get a glimpse of where your food is coming from, as well as enjoy some of the country ambiance and livestock. We have many plans for the farm to allow for you to come and enjoy the experience.

We thank everyone for your support at the market in Hartford City! We do hope that you will continue to come visit us at the farm. We will have more info in regards to hours and what all we will have available posted soon! In the mean time if you have any questions please let us know!

UPDATE: Both freezers are sold and pending pick up.

We have 2 of these 14.8 cubic foot chest freezers available for sale. Pick up will be in Hartford city, work perfectly and less than a year old. We do have the baskets for them as well that go inside. $450 each. Delivery is available for a fee if needed.

We have a 10.6 cubic foot chest freezer for sale. Works great and is in great condition we just no longer need it. Pick up is in Hartford City, delivery available for a fee.

Who else is ready for flower season to start?!?! Only a few short weeks now and it will be time!! The planters for this season are coming in and being built and are looking great!!! Stay tuned for more!!

2022 CSA Program

Our 2022 CSA program for the summer session! Please read thoroughly as there are some changes to the program for this coming session to make things better and smoother for everyone! This session will limit delivery to a 40 mile radius of the farm. Shares will also be produce only this year with the option to add a meat share delivered with the produce of an average of 5 pounds per week. If you haven’t participated before this program is designed to deliver to you the best, freshest produce possible as it is harvested. It is a great way to eat healthier and have better tasting products!! As you probably noticed if you have signed up before the cost has increased, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that given our current economic state. This year there will be 12 deliveries again starting June 9th. There is also the option to prepay for a discount or to make monthly installments until June 1st. Please note pricing below and if you have any questions or would like to sign up let us know! There are limited spots and they do fill quickly so don’t wait!!

Prepay- $450 for produce only, $700 with added meats, must be paid with in 24 hours of signing up.

Installments- $500 for produce only, $750 with added meats, monthly payments due the first of each month. Must be paid off by June 1st.
