The Grainary
The Grainary is a division of our dairy farm. It gives the "Farm Hers," an opportunity to share some of their talents and gifts.
It also gives us the opportunity to open the farm atmosphere to the public. It is great to meet new neighbors & new friends
We are looking for a tractor driver for this Saturday and Sunday. We need somebody that has experience hauling loads of silage. We have no time to train. Had people cancel at the last minute thank you and God bless.

So I made pickles for the first time in my life.😋 When we were growing up, there was a recipe in the family for sweet chunk pickles. When we got a jar of those in our house, needless to say, it disappeared very quickly. There were five children, so it didn’t last long. I know the recipe circulated amongst family on my mothers side, but it was usually great aunt Irene, where we got our jars from. And oh what a treat. So I wanted to be able to make these for our Grainary event, but wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. But I got the recipe from one of my great aunts, and a few pointers from her as well, and I think we hit the nail on the head. They are yummy if I do say so myself.🤭
Does anybody in the neighborhood have some dill I could purchase from them? 
Hello everyone, I am putting this message out there. I have somebody working on this, but I am still going to put an additional message out to the public for anyone that is interested. We are trying to put together a brochure with all of our local farmers. It really does not matter what kind of farmer you are, we are looking for local farmers who have something to sell to the public.
